To you, from me.

I love you. And I don’t just love you, I love all of you. The good bits, the dirty bits, the bad bits, the missing bits, and all of the bits in between. Anyone else other than you who’s reading this probably thinks that we love each other because we’ve been together for so long, but that’s just the shallow end. Our relationship contains depths unrecognized by the ordinary eye. We’ve grown so immensely from being little Freshmen sprouts to being full-fledged adults. People always say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but I beg to differ. We never need distance nor breaks nor other weak excuses to make our hearts grow fonder, we just need another waking moment. Our love is incredible. And yes we have our messy days, but who cares? Sometimes the messiest of messes create the most beautiful and perfect creations.

Permalink It was October something 2007, we were in English I Honors class together. I vividly remember we were assigned to work on a group project together on The Odyssey. I said hi and you said hey back; you gave me a look and a smile that just stuck. I remember how much hatred your girlfriend exuded towards me because of that.

As we worked together and talked aimlessly, I became more and more fond of your company. You were obnoxious yet funny, carefree yet disciplined, athletic yet nerdy. You were everything I looked for in a friend. And I never planned on being a home wrecker.

The bell rang and we said our short byes and carried on with our days. Leaving the room I knew that I met a genuine person who I wanted to be in my life.
Who knew that one random October day in 2007 could change my life forever. Thanks to The Odyssey and Mrs. Sambas’ English class, I met the love of my life.
